Join us on Saturday, May 13, for this enriching workshop that was designed to provide each woman with a time of refreshing, renewal, empowerment, and motivation all in the setting of Sisterhood! The speakers for the occasion, Rolanda Brown-Dennis, RCSWI, MSW of The Wellness Social Worker and Manifestation Wellness, LLC, and Pastor Dana Dudley of New Harvest Christian Center in Tallahassee, Florida, were selected specifically to minister to the needs of women and provide a true "pouring" that will encourage everyone to be their very best. Additionally, VWP's very own personal communications expert and supporter, Sister Kianna Gilley, will serve as our Workshop Facilitator for the occasion and Pastor Abbie Knight will lead us in a gospel praise.
Below is a brief profile on each of the Virtuous & Victorious Empowerment Workshop speakers:
Rolanda Brown-Dennis has spent the past 20+ years dedicating her life’s work to advocating, empowering, and supporting individuals, families, and communities. She has a burning desire to be a vessel in healing the community from trauma through support, teaching, education, and accountability, as well as empowering people to see their inner worth, becoming self-aware, helping them find their voice, and self-validation through intentional spoken word & action. As a Holistic Therapist, she is the Founder & Owner of Manifestation Wellness. and also the Founder and CEO of Community Helpers for Children and Youth, Inc. Mrs. Brown-Dennis is a graduate of Florida A&M University obtaining both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Department of Social Work, and has extensive experience in the Child Welfare and Community arena.
Pastor Dana Dudley is a woman with a great heart, a great love for God, and a love for service. She is the Pastor of New Harvest Christian Center here in Tallahassee where she is an active, hands-on servant leader. She preaches God's Word with authority, loves leading Praise & Worship and engaging with the ministries of the church. Pastor Dana is an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and serves as a Youth Advisor for the Alpha Upsilon Chapter and Southeastern Region Zeta/Sigma Liaison. Professionally, she is the Chief Operating Officer at the Pittman Law Group and has over twenty years of executive management experience. As a servant leader, she is committed to giving back and you’ll often find her volunteering with the Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce, March of Dimes, American Cancer Society, and local schools.
Pastor Abbie M. Knight is the Pastor of Agape with Borders International Ministries in Tallahassee. She has a love for people and puts God's love in action. Pastor Abbie retired from the US Air Force after nearly 20 years of service and remains committed to taking care of the body, God's temple.
Pastor Abbie is passionate about her fitness ministry, Agape Aerobics, where attendees literally work out their own soul salvation. Pastor Abbie's favorite scripture is 3 John 2- Above all God wants us to be in Good health and to prosper even as our soul prospers. Pastor Abbie Knight is a mighty soldier in the Army of the Lord and her love has legs!
